Technology Architecture (TA)

In the Technology Architecture phase, we develop a framework to document enterprise's current, emerging, and retireing technologies in order to leverage the investment and maximize their potential for a business problem. Following activities include in an TA initiative:

• Define and develop a technology framework- processes to document and template for capturing information during the technology architecture process.
• Perform technology domain modeling
• Identify certain stakeholder's concern and address them by developing views, including:
  • Network computing / hardware view
  • Communication view
  • Processing view
  • Cost view
  • Product standard & compliance view
• Develop several matrices to relate and link business and information architecture to technology architecture
• Develop processes to maintain technology architecture
• Develop a technology architecture report
